PK-8 Educational Technician I - Special Education

2025-2026 rate of pay ranges from $18.52 to $22.29 per hour,

plus 95% employer paid single health insurance coverage (other plans at 97% and 100%)

and 100% employer paid single dental insurance coverage

• Certified as an Ed Tech I and current MDOE CHRC Approval
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
• Experience working with children in a classroom - small and large group settings
• Ability to support and provide personal care for students with disabilities
• Ability to lift and transfer students with restricted mobility
• Ability to learn and implement Safety Care and crisis intervention strategies and techniques
• Ability to follow and implement IEP directives, consistent routines, schedules, behavior and health plans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A calm, patient and positive demeanor
• A collaborative, flexible, and supportive team member
