Middle School English Teacher, Long-Term Substitute (Part-Time)
North Yarmouth Academy seeks a long-term, part-time substitute to teach Middle School English from early October 2025 through late February/early March 2026. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in English Literature or related field); dedication to meeting the needs of each student; enthusiasm for teaching engaging and lively lessons; passion for the subject matter; the ability to work collaboratively with supportive colleagues; and demonstrated teaching experience, ideally at the Middle School level.
This long-term substitute position includes teaching two sections of eighth grade English, as well as assisting with a weekly enrichment course, proctoring study halls, and other duties as specified. This part-time position pays $115-$130/day.
