Education Technician I–III (Special Education)

Location: Caribou Community School

Caribou Community School has an opening for an Education Technician I–III (Special Education). If you are passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve success, we encourage you to apply.

This position works closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students in a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Maine DOE authorization as an Education Technician (or eligibility to obtain authorization)
• Experience supporting students with social-emotional learning and/or behavioral needs preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and flexible in a variety of situations
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
