Drama Advisor - Fall/Winter

Deering H.S. is currently looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable candidate to serve as our Fall/Winter Drama Advisor for the 2025 season that runs from September to January. Candidate must be flexible to work within a cooperative team environment, be skilled at enaging and supporting students from diverse backgrounds and welcome the chance to build off the DHS Drama Club's strong culture, engaged student membership and history of successes with fall and spring shows. The Drama Advisor will be tasked with conducting fall auditions, and leading and directing our Fall Show/Musical production of "Mamma Mia!" in December 2025. Previous H.S. or college Drama advising and directing and educational leadership/teaching experience is preferred. The DHS Drama Club performs and rehearses after school 3-5 days/week at our Auditorium at DHS in Portland, Maine.
