Position: Computer Teacher (K-6)
Winslow Elementary School (WES) is actively seeking a Computer teacher to join our exceptional team for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities Include
- Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students
- Create a safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects in alignment with curriculum goals, guiding the learning process and communicating these targets to students
- Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
- Participate actively in all Team meetings and school-wide professional development
- Maintain strong, positive partnerships with families to support student success
- Assumes other duties reasonably assigned by the principal
Qualifications
- Elementary and computer/technology teaching experience preferred
- Training or experience with Responsive Classroom/Regulated Classroom is a plus
- Experience with a variety of elementary-level teaching practices preferred
- Possess strong classroom management skills
- A commitment to continuous professional growth and collaborative practice
- Must hold appropriate teacher certification
