- Provide direct contact and phone calls with consumers, offering information, education, referrals, and fostering relationships in the community.
- Conduct intake processes for new consumers, update records, and provide services as needed.
- Organize and schedule consumer appointments, ensuring timely coordination.
- Conduct demonstrations of accessibility equipment to assist in the selection of devices that work best for individuals (training provided).
- Manage equipment requests from the DME Reuse Program, cleaning, ensuring availability, tagging, and appropriate distribution.
- Distribute equipment to consumers or their representatives on-site or off-site using the company vehicle. Accept community donations of durable medical equipment (on and off -site) and provide donors with charitable donation forms.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments to go over Golden Technologies products and complete paperwork and documentation for sales.
- Provide excellent customer service by being helpful, courteous, and responsive to requests for information or assistance.
- Accurately document case notes, maintain case files and perform follow-up activities in compliance with program regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt and accurate responses to consumer service requests.
- Associate degree or higher is preferred in a health-related field.
- Experience working with people with disabilities and an understanding of the independent living philosophy is preferred.
- A healthcare background is preferred.
- Valid driver's license, and less than 3 points on driver's record.
