Job Overview
The Field Project Manager provides hands-on leadership at job sites, overseeing installation, construction support, and technology deployment activities. You will manage schedules, track issues, maintain documentation, and serve as the primary onsite point of contact for clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities onsite across multiple active job sites in the Boise area
- Coordinate low-voltage, electrical, and data center installation work
- Maintain project schedules, deliverables, and resource plans
- Serve as the onsite client liaison, ensuring clear and timely communication
- Enforce safety standards, QA/QC, and compliance with project scope
- Document progress: daily reports, RFIs, change logs, and closeout materials
- Support material planning, subcontractor coordination, and site readiness
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and turnover activities
- 3-7 years of field project management experience (construction, electrical, low-voltage, or related technical projects)
- Strong background working on active job sites with multi-trade coordination
- Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills
- Ability to read drawings, scopes, and technical specifications
- Experience with project tools (Smartsheet, Procore, MS Project, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Boise area
- PMP or construction certifications are a plus but not required
