About This Role
As a Crew Chief at ServiceMaster by GBS, you'll be on the ground leading your crew through restoration and construction projects. Our project managers assess each job and lay out the plan — your job is to execute it with your team, make sure everything is done correctly, and uphold our white glove standard on every single job site.

Based out of Valley Stream, NY. Job sites vary across the area. As an emergency service company, we occasionally respond to jobs on short notice — availability and reliability are essential.
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

About This Role
As a Crew Chief at ServiceMaster by GBS, you'll be on the ground leading your crew through restoration and construction projects. Our project managers assess each job and lay out the plan — your job is to execute it with your team, make sure everything is done correctly, and uphold our white glove standard on every single job site.
What You'll Actually Do
- Lead your crew on restoration and construction job sites from start to finish
- Execute project plans laid out by the project manager
- Make sure your crew has everything they need and that all materials and equipment are accounted for
- Take thorough photos and document everything on the job site
- Fill out all required paperwork accurately and on time
- Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites safely and responsibly
- Communicate clearly with the office and project manager throughout each job
- Hold yourself and your crew to our white glove standard on every job
- Experience in restoration, construction, or a related trade — basic to advanced knowledge welcome
- Natural leader who can manage a team and keep things moving on site
- Physically capable and comfortable with hands-on, demanding work
- Reliable — shows up on time, every time, and follows through
- Detail-oriented — documents everything and doesn't cut corners
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record — you will be driving a company vehicle
- Ability to work on short notice when emergency jobs come in
- Long-term mindset — we want someone who grows with us
- Spanish speaker is a plus
