What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mitigation Technician position at ServiceMaster Restore DQS?
ServiceMaster Restore by DQS provides residential and commercial restoration including water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, disaster recovery, and more! We cover the Kansas City metro and surrounding areas. ServiceMaster is growing and we are seeking motivated individuals who want to grow with us.
Water mitigation experience and IICRC certification is a plus but not required.
Water Restoration Requirements:
- Assess and evaluate job severity
- Set drying equipment in compliance with IICRC standards
- Demolition and cleanup
- Packing, moving, and loading furniture and equipment
- Communicating and reporting job progress with the team
- Rotating weekly on call, company vehicle provided
- Overtime
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
Water Restoration Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift heavy objects - up to 70lbs
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures: indoors and outdoors
- Must be able to work in confined spaces when needed: attics and crawl spaces
- Must be willing to get dirty!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

- 8am-430pm Mon-Fri, but it will require some overtime and weekend rotations.
