Position Summary
The Contents Technician directly assist our customers with a variety of services including inventory and disposal of damaged contents, processing, packing, and cleaning of personal contents affected by fire damage, water damage, or mold. The Contents Technician must possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, have the ability to effectively utilize technology to document and submit project files and paperwork, including time and crew sheets
Responsibilities
Required
This is an in-field position that requires frequent travel to and from active jobsites. Jobsites may contain asbestos, microbial growth, lead, or other hazardous materials; personal protective equipment or PPE will be provided.
Jobsites may or may not have electricity; expect to work in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Physical Demands
This position will typically require the employee to stand or walk for extended periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor. Expect to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items often for this position.

Position Summary
The Contents Technician directly assist our customers with a variety of services including inventory and disposal of damaged contents, processing, packing, and cleaning of personal contents affected by fire damage, water damage, or mold. The Contents Technician must possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, have the ability to effectively utilize technology to document and submit project files and paperwork, including time and crew sheets
Responsibilities
- Lead crew in packing and loading household , textiles or office items onto trucks
- Process assigned laundry orders completely and on time — Inventorying, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging
- Ensure that all items are properly secured and protected during transport
- Unload items at the destination and assist in unpacking and setting up
- Clean and deodorize contents affected by a loss.
- Assesses and catalogs non-restorable contents while obtaining proper approvals from Adjusters.
- Ensures contents have been processed correctly by completing visual inspections and signing off.
- Monitors the safeguard of inventory within the company’s possession..
- Manipulates customers’ contents in accordance with the job scope and customers’ requests.
- Reports broken or damaged goods to management, completing required documentation.
- Follows industry best practices, ensuring safeguards are being used during content manipulation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
- Other duties as assigned or apparent.
Required
- Must be physically able to perform pack out/cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in cleaning and order processing.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality control standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in restoration, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities paired with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong Problem-solving/Decision-making capabilities
- Fluent in industry standards and protocols
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
