Restoration Technician

Full-Time | Emergency Restoration | Water, Fire & Mold

About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Restoration Technician to join our emergency disaster restoration team. In this role, you will assist with water damage cleanup, fire restoration, mold remediation, and property repair services, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and with outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform restoration tasks assigned by the Project Manager or Crew Chief, including fire, water, and mold damage restoration.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the restoration process.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
  • Follow Clean Trust (IICRC) Standards on all jobs.
  • Work in various environmental conditions—indoors, outdoors, confined spaces, heat, cold, etc.
  • Use restoration technology such as iPads, moisture meters, infrared meters, laser tape measures, digital cameras, and GPS.
  • Lift up to 75 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Maintain and care for all equipment, tools, vehicles, and supplies.
  • Work evenings, weekends, on-call shifts, and travel overnight when required.
  • Collect customer payments and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Review daily schedules and communicate effectively with the Crew Chief.
  • Stand and move for 95% of the workday, including stair climbing.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and wear approved company uniforms.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and new assignments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Clean Trust (IICRC) certification in at least one of the following:
  • Water Damage Restoration
  • Fire & Smoke Restoration
  • Mold Remediation
  • Carpet Cleaning
  • Odor Control
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Comfortable using technology (iPad, moisture meters, digital tools, etc.).
  • Must have an active cellphone (monthly reimbursement offered).

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Smart phone.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the U.S. (I-9 documentation).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of experience in disaster restoration, construction, or related field.
  • Proven dependability and consistent work history.
  • Be able to work outside of the company territory at least once per year.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
