Role Description The Site Manager, Commercial Construction Cleaning is a full-time, on-site role based in Spartanburg, SC. This role oversees day-to-day cleaning operations at commercial construction sites, including planning workflows, scheduling crews, and assigning tasks to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. The Site Manager monitors site conditions, inspects completed work, coordinates with general contractors and project stakeholders, and addresses issues or service requests promptly. Responsibilities include managing supplies and equipment, enforcing safety and compliance policies, tracking project progress, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The role also involves coaching and supporting team members, promoting consistent service delivery, and upholding ServiceMaster Janitorial Partners’ standards of excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess site conditions, prioritize tasks, and solve operational problems.
- Experience in Commercial Management, including overseeing site operations and managing multiple projects or accounts.
- Ability in Business Planning to support scheduling, resource allocation, and cost-effective service delivery.
- Proven Team Management skills, including leading crews, delegating responsibilities, and fostering a safe, respectful work environment.
- Knowledge of Contract Management to understand service agreements, scope of work, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in commercial construction cleaning or related facilities/industrial cleaning strongly preferred.
- OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certification Preferred
- OSHA 10 Construction Safety Certification Required
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with contractors, clients, and team members.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and quality control.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in facilities management, construction, or safety is a plus.
