Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and site experience. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all regulations.
Duties
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize construction estimating software
- Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct thorough construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets.
- Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters, customers, and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
- Monitor on-site activities to ensure safety standards are met and quality control is maintained.
- Prepare and present project weekly updates to all parties involved.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing residential construction projects (restoration experience preferred)
- Strong estimating skills using industry-standard software (Xactimate preferred)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with contracts related to construction projects.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong leadership skills with the capability to coordinate multiple teams effectively on-site.
- Exceptional communication skills for liaising with adjusters, clients, contractors, and team members.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
