Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and products.
• Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
• Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain high-quality flooring throughout the facility.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects and specialized tasks such as deep cleaning or high dusting when needed.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting repair needs, performing light repairs, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas including walkways, parking lots, and loading zones to ensure a safe environment.
• Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care (buffing, stripping), and use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or reaching as needed.
• Familiarity with safety standards related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting issues.
