ServiceMaster by Isler specializes in the cleaning, restoration, and reconstruction of properties damaged by water, fire, storms, or mold. ServiceMaster by Isler has been family owned for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a highly motivated a construction crew lead. Candidate must have experience in Construction Framing, Door and Window Installation, Trim Carpentry (Stained woodwork and painted), Cabinet Installation, and Floor installation

Candidate must be able to perform these tasks in a Team Setting. Candidate must be able to manage their daily Goals in an Efficient Manner. Candidate must be able to Organize their Jobsite and Maintain Safe working conditions on the Jobsite.

Position Summary

The Construction Crew Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily job site activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. This role leads a team of construction workers, communicates with project managers, and maintains high standards of quality, productivity, and safety. In addition to leadership duties, the Crew Lead is expected to actively participate in construction work alongside the crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise construction crews
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed according to project plans and specifications.
  • Be able to complete tasks such as drywall repair, painting, finish carpentry, installing doors or windows, and flooring installation
  • Train, mentor, and support crew members to improve performance and maintain quality workmanship.
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Monitor productivity, job progress, and quality control throughout each phase of construction.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, xactimate scope sheets, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
  • Operate and oversee the safe use of construction equipment and tools.
  • Identify and resolve job site issues to minimize delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, equipment, and daily job activities.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of construction experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
