Position Summary:
Water Restoration Technician is the perfect position for anyone who loves to help people and work with their hands. You will be working with customers in their homes or places of business to help clean up after water damage. This position will be responsible for assessing the site, placing and monitoring equipment, communicating with customers related to expectations of each job, and completing demolition and clean up as needed. Must be reliable, hard working and able to work in a fast-paced, on call environment to achieve the highest level of customer service possible.
Responsibilities:
- Will work 40 hours per week depending on volume of work - overtime is likely
- Required to be on call for evenings and weekends as needed
- Must be able to learn software and documentation quickly
- Must work well with customers, providing the highest possible customer service on every project, communicating in a friendly and professional manner at all times
- Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites, following all traffic laws and company policies to ensure the safety of you and those around you
- Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to complete forms and documentation daily as required
- Will complete demo and clean up on job sites as needed
- Promote ServiceMaster services to customers as needed
- Some water restoration experience is required. Training and certification will be provided
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of Water restoration experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Ability to speak and write English well
- Valid insurable TX drivers license with a clean driving record
- Citizen or legal resident of the U.S.
- No felonies
- Ability to pass a drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
- IICRC certification in water damage or mold remediation preferred but not required
- 2 years of Customer Service experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
