Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, reach-in units, ice machines, rooftop units, boilers, and chillers.
Diagnose complex system issues and perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
Deliver excellent customer service and communicate technical information clearly.
Maintain accurate service records, time logs, and documentation.
Serve as a mentor to junior technicians and uphold a leadership presence in the field.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and industry standards.
Travel to job sites across the Chicagoland area with a company vehicle.
8 years of hands-on HVAC and refrigeration experience preferred.
Strong background in commercial HVAC systems (rooftop units, chillers, boilers).
EPA Universal Certification (Required).
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid drivers license with a clean record.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in varied conditions.
Capable of working independently and setting a professional example for others.
