What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside and Inside Sale Representative position at Service Rentals & Supplies Inc?
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Provides first-class customer service assisting customers with their equipment rental and sales needs. Establishes new customer relationships and maintains existing customers to generate and maximize rental and sales revenue. Prepare rental and sales proposals, completes contracts, and coordinates equipment preparation and delivery. Contributes to or Develops product marketing strategies for companys various branch locations.
Adheres to and enforces compliance with Service Rentals and Supplies, Inc. (Company) policies and procedure, applicable Governmental and regulatory laws. Continuation of employment is dependent upon Company need and satisfactory performance.
Level of Interaction:
High level of interaction with businesses, homeowners, vendors, and government agencies. Works closely and partners with managers, supervisors, and staff within branch and other locations. Self-starter and high level of independence in accomplishing tasks.
Rental and Sales: Develop and maintain positive and mutually beneficial working relationship with current and new customers to generate revenue growth. Develop network list of potential clients and consistently contact them through the telephone, internet, or in person. Establish and implement the optimum call and/or contact frequency by account to lead toward the accomplishment of sales budget. Ensure all business tractions are conducted in accordance with company policies. Maintain and exceed quotas through consistent equipment rental and sales.
Customer Service: Assist customers in selection and application of the best suited product for their project, ask clarifying questions, explain equipment and parts advantages, benefits, limitations, and uses to meet their needs. Prepare customer rental and sale bids understanding market conditions and local competitor pricing, obtain certificate of insurance (COI) as applicable, create contracts, collect and process payments. Follow up on adjustments and corrections and provide information to coworkers accordingly. Coordinate after-sale product support. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, engaging with mechanics, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to President.
Product Delivery & Demonstration: Demonstrate wide variety of equipment to customer. Work closely with mechanics to maximize equipment rentals and sales and minimize equipment down time. Assist mechanics with basic product assembly. Work with marketing to help improve brand awareness and online presence. Create and assist with store displays.
Competitive Sales & Marketing Strategic Analysis & Planning: Drive company sales by continually identifying new rental and sales opportunities, new ways to make products attractive with new and existing customers. Investigate and analyze market conditions, competition activity, product acceptance or rejections to enhance the need for current and future products for SRS. Develop and discover target markets and advantages of other companies. Plan, organize, and assist in implementation of new rental and sales strategies. Analyze and recommend sales and marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives for organization that align branch sales plans with community needs to increase market share. Discovers how to market products to new users. Routinely exchange market and product knowledge with management and other sales associates to understand all prospects of SRS products and potential. Organize special marketing events.
Administrative and Record Keeping, System and Process: create and maintain sales and customer account reports to facilitate the achievement of rental and sales quotas on various islands. Provides feedback on Alert System structure to increase efficiency.
