What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Class A CDL Driver position at Service Recycling?
Local routes, home every night. No weekends.
The right candidate will be familiar with FMCSA laws as well as care and basic maintenance of a tractor-trailer.
Inexperienced drivers welcome!
Haven’t driven a truck in months or years? We will retrain you! All you need is a current class A CDL and physical.

Requirements:
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Transport finished goods and raw materials to and from customers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations
- Take of the truck like it is your own.
- Experience with flatbeds.
Pay is $0.40 a mile
