Job Description:

You’ll be out in the field—independent, trusted, and hands-on—servicing and repairing a wide range of commercial cooking equipment, including:

• Ranges, Fryers, Griddles, Charbroilers, and Ovens (Pizza, Convection, Deck, Broiler)
• Steamers, Combi Ovens, Heated Cabinets, Kettles, and Tilting Skillets
• And more across diverse customer environments: hospitals, restaurants, nursing homes, cafeterias, fire departments, and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment quickly and effectively
• Deliver top-notch customer service and communicate with clients on-site
• Recommend preventative maintenance services to help clients minimize downtime
• Keep your service vehicle and truck inventory organized and stocked
• Represent Service Plus with professionalism and pride

Skills

Must-haves:

• 2 years of commercial appliance and/or refrigeration experience
• Strong electrical, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage your daily route
• High school diploma or GED
• A commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship
• Experience diagnosing and installing commercial kitchen equipment
• EPA certification or refrigeration experience

Nice-to-haves:

OEM or CFESA training
