Sales Representative
Service Metal is a nationwide Master Distributor serving the pipe fitting and valve industry. Our sales team plays a critical role in driving growth, building customer relationships, and delivering accurate, responsive service that sets us apart. Delivering a world-class customer experience is our number one priority, and that starts with our high-performing sales team.
We are hiring experienced Sales Representatives who can take ownership of customer relationships, respond quickly to opportunities, and contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented environment.
This is an in-office position that may be able to transition to remote role, after training is completed.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to Requests for Quote (RFQs) quickly and accurately
- Translate customer needs into detailed, competitive sales quotations
- Process sales orders with a high level of accuracy and urgency
- Develop new business and grow existing customer relationships
- Determine customer potential and apply strategic pricing
- Maintain strong product knowledge and act as a trusted resource for customers
- Represent Service Metal with professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications:
- 23 years of sales or customer-facing experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
- High level of organization and follow-through
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
