SUMMARY: Maintain all floor types / areas and maintain company standards of floor cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, (other duties may be assigned):
- Moves furniture before and after cleaning with care.
- Disposes of trash and assist with trash collection
- Operates various types of equipment while donning adequate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Measures chemicals correctly.
- Maintains chemicals, including labeling and dispensing correctly.
- Cleans and maintains all equipment in accordance with manufacture guidelines.
- Reports any maintenance issues to supervisor or manager.
- Demonstrates regular, predictable attendance at the job site or
- Assists with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects as
- Cleans and maintains various floors surfaces. This includes carpet, wood, marble, vinyl, stone, tile, slate etc.
- Vacuums, shampoos, bonnets and extracts carpets / stairwells.
- Performs preventative maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use.
- Performs floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells.

Education/Experience: No prior experience or training.
Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in English.
Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
