Overview
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Porter to service a commercial property located near Camelback Rd & 15th Ave in Phoenix. This position combines day porter cleaning duties and light maintenance work to help keep the property clean, safe, and well maintained.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 5.5 hours per day
- 27.5 hours per week
- Start time each morning will be 9AM
- 30 minute unpaid lunch
- End time each day will be 2:30PM
Additional hours may be available at nearby properties based on your availability and location.
Job Responsibilities
Day Porter Duties
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Pick up trash around the property
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas
Light Maintenance Duties
- Replace light bulbs
- Replace ceiling tiles
- Clean out light fixtures
- Unclog toilets and minor plumbing issues
- Escort vendors when they arrive onsite
- Handle miscellaneous work orders as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience with light maintenance or property maintenance
- Comfortable using basic tools
- Comfortable working on a ladder
- Willing to perform cleaning duties
- Reliable transportation to the property
- Consistent and reliable with start times
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
Pay: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
