Role Description The Automotive Body Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at our Dallas, TX location. This role is responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies after collisions, including assessing damage, removing and replacing damaged panels, straightening frames, and preparing surfaces for paint. Day-to-day tasks include performing repairs according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications, collaborating with estimators and painters to ensure accurate repair plans, and documenting work performed. The technician will also perform basic maintenance and repair tasks related to body integrity, ensure safe and organized use of tools and equipment, and uphold high quality and safety standards. This position involves frequent interaction with the shop team to meet deadlines and deliver a positive experience for customers.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Collision repair and Auto Body restoration.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Paint preparation, application, and finishing.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair.
  • Previous experience as an automotive body technician or related collision repair role.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair estimates, work orders, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Knowledge of shop safety practices and proper use of body repair tools and equipment.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or trade school training is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
