Service Credit Union is seeking a full-time, highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Security Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a similar background who possesses strong organizational skills, takes initiative and ownership of tasks and responsibilities, and is ready to contribute on day one. The ideal candidate applies a structured, hands-on approach to problem-solving, is solution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Pay range: $22.00 - $24.00/hour. Flexible depending on experience and qualifications. Junior level candidates typically start at the lower end of the range, with opportunities for growth as skill develop.

Location: This position is an onsite position. Candidate must be located within 60 miles of the NH Seacoast area.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and performance of video surveillance and alarm systems
• Review and investigate after-hours alarms or video system issues
• Process and review security incident reports, conducting follow-up actions or investigations as required
• Manage, support, and troubleshoot access control systems
• Troubleshoot security system issues as they arise
• Coordinate with external vendors for security software support or equipment troubleshooting
• Perform branch visits and security reviews annually
• Conduct physical security training with employees
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures for employee change requests, issue tracking, compliance reviews, and related tasks
• Act as backup for Security Desk, as required.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security systems, facilities support, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to competing priorities
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent work ethic with a proactive, results-driven approach
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
  
  

Work Environment & Expectations

• Primarily a desk-based position
• Regular travel required for facility visits
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment while remaining dependable and responsive to employee needs
