Service Center Metals is seeking an Experienced CDL Truck Driver based out of our state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion and billet facility located in Prince George, VA.
Candidate requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (flatbed or local haul preferred)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform basic truck maintenance and pre/post-trip inspections
- Must be able to lift and secure loads as required
- Be dependable and accountable
Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with flatbed
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Self-directed and motivated
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet delivery schedules
This position involves transporting materials using a company tractor-trailer as an over-the-road/line haul driver.
