Official Job Description:
This position is for a financial planning associate to start out in a support role. Someone with some experience in the business but also flexible enough to learn new processes and deliver outstanding customer service.
The primary responsibility is to support a financial advisor in his day-to-day activities and handle new clients that come to the firm. Our marketing is taking off and we are starting to get more in-bound new client requests and we would like to be able to accommodate these new clients with the right person.
This role requires superior interpersonal and multi-tasking skills. The candidate should be able to work with multiple software programs and be very detail-oriented. You will be doing financial planning work for all clients. You will eventually have dedicated clients to work with as the practice continues to grow.
****The most important aspect is that you want to have a strong desire to do everything related to personal finance for a firm that is actively growing. This includes helping me with marketing like growing our YouTube Channel, helping with writing financial blogs and proactively reaching out to clients to deepen relationships.
Responsibilities and Skills needed:
- Technology Savy and able to multi-task through different software systems
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects at once to determine which should be completed first
- Respond to clients in a timely manner
- Ability to find answers and troubleshoot on your own
- Act with integrity in all situations
- Show a desire to learn more about the industry, rules, and regulations and stay up to date with training
- Assist with marketing advisory practice
- ***Huge plus if you know eMoney, or Holistiplan software. Seriously, front of the line if you've worked with these software systems and have a good grasp on them.
Hours each week:
- Full-time with flexible vacation days
Benefits:
- I am still working out what the potential benefits are, depending on the applicant's need
- Base Pay will be in the $65,000 - $85,000 range with business growth incentives that will go over $100,000 in the near future as we hit our benchmarks.
- Remote work, but preference for the Tri-State Area.
Requirements:
- Have your CFP or are already on a plan to obtain it. This is a must.
- Have worked in a private wealth management team/setting before and already understand the cadence of the job
- Have your series 7 and 66 license.
