SFCFS seeks to deliver uninterrupted power and cooling to each data center in the Serverfarm portfolio. This is complimented by providing remote monitoring services to both internal sites and external clients.The Critical Facilities Manager role is a customer and team facing role and is vital in leading our operational team delivery and standards within our facilities.Key AccountabilitiesOversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities.Provide leadership, management, and development ensuring operational commitments are met and exceeded.Support SFCFS teams and other stakeholders in the delivery of all services within the scope of the role, and provide shoulder to shoulder technical service input as required in order to enhance the credibility of the companySafety of all SFCFS personnel and equipment onsite.Ownership of MEP operations across Serverfarm Data Center.Ensure that all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure is operated and maintained in a safe manner, to best industry practice and within manufacturers recommendations.Work with the Construction & Project team to ensure Serverfarm Data Center’s site meets all required statutory and mandatory requirements.Ensure all site MEP infrastructure operates within defined capacity standards.Ensure all activities on site are carried out in accordance with Serverfarm Company Policies and Guidelines.Required SkillsMinimum of 7 years of experience in critical facilities operations within a hyperscale environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial roleExperience in maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteriaAn understanding of the critical facilities environment, and the working restrictions applicable to such environmentsFamiliar with the use of Microsoft Office applicationsGood communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work under pressure, with changing, and often conflicting, priorities to meet deadlinesServerfarm is committed to providing an equal opportunity workplace and offers paid time off, paid holidays, 401k and FULL coverage medical, dental and vision.
