Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and build strong relationships by understanding their financial needs and goals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, information, and assistance
- Assist customers with opening, closing, and managing accounts (savings, checking, money market, CDs)
- Educate customers on account features, fees, and benefits
- Support additional services including debit/ATM cards, check orders, compromised accounts, and savings bonds
- Perform teller duties as needed, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash verification, and receipt issuance
- Process financial transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, balance inquiries)
- Identify and recommend appropriate banking products and services based on customer needs
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals
- Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies, including BSA, AML, and OFAC requirements
- Maintain cash accuracy, balance teller drawer, review endorsements, and process mail, night depository, and ATM deposits
- Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate customer records, transaction logs, and documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1 year of Account Services, Universal Banker and Cash handling experience (preferred).
- Previous experience in banking, retail banking, or customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures.
- Sales and customer service experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in using banking software and computer applications.
