This is a full-time, on-site role located in Knoxville, TN, for a Direct Support Professional. The Direct Support Professional will assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily activities, provide support with personal care, facilitate community engagement, and help develop life skills. Responsibilities also include implementing care plans, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all individuals served.
- Experience in Human Services and working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
- Ability to conduct Training and provide support for skill development
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in related fields is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
