Forklift Operator- Loader/Shipper - 2nd Shift

What You'll Do:

• Assists in the day-to-day operations of the Shipping Department.
• Follows load schedules and ensures a smooth workflow.
• Co-ordinates the staging area.
• Organizes special packaging.
• Loads trucks.
• Performs various operations in the department as required.

What You'll Bring:

• Basic ability to read and write English
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to work safely, take initiative, multi-task, and work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Work experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment preferred. 
  
  

Job Factors/Work Environments

• Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations as required.
• Must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour during an 8-hour shift or longer in overtime situations to meet customer demand. Heavy loads must be team-lifted.  A work pace that maintains integrity of make-to-order system is required. 
• Safety-focused, fast-paced manufacturing plant engaged in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement.
• Work environment includes a clean and safe work area and exposure to high noise decibels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals.
• Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn for any hazards and is supplied by the company.
• Hourly wage starting at $23.00/hour
• 2nd Shift Hours - 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM plus overtime
