CDL Truck Driver - Regional

Job Description:
Serta Simmons Bedding is seeking reliable and experienced CDL-A Truck Drivers to transport bedding products to customers and distribution centers. This position involves partial touch freight, meaning drivers will assist with unloading as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver mattresses and bedding products.
• Ensure on-time delivery to warehouses, retail locations, or direct customers.
• Handle partial touch freight, assisting with unloading as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules.
• Keep accurate logs using electronic logging devices (ELDs).

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience (required).
• Ability to lift and move bedding products as needed.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overnights and weekends if required.
• Must be at least 21 (25 in Canada) years old and be physically qualified to drive a truck in accordance with DOT requirements/regulations/standards
• Solid MVR, no serious violations
