Summary:
The Manufacturing Lead (Night Shift) is a working Lead that will assist the Department Supervisors in achieving the shifts goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of an hourly work force. The Manufacturing Lead is an expert in one of the skilled trades of Fabrication, Weld or Assembly and will be responsible for fostering teamwork, coaching team members and performance management of their shift. Required Experiences:
- Is proactive on safety concerns and takes action when appropriate
- Lead is responsible for executing manufacturing plan set by each Department Supervisor.
- Works closely with other Leads and Supervisors to ensure smooth transition between shifts.
- Coordinates workflow for a work area of 7-10 employees to ensure production schedules are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Shift may consists of work performed in Fabrication, Weld and Assembly and Lead should be familiar with all areas.
- Produces required quality of work.
- Must have a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide coaching and facilitate training to develop employees.
- Demonstrate leadership in the areas of communication, conflict resolution, process constraints and problem solving.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership team.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to lift, feel, handle or free objects.
- The employee must be able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold, as well as wet weather.
- The employee frequently is required to talk, hear, and communicate with other employees.
- The employee must be able to move and/or lift objects up to 50 pounds often.
- All employees must wear company-approved safety glasses and steel toe boots while in the plant and warehouse areas
Second shift: 4pm-2:30am; Monday-Thursday
Salary : $25 - $35
