Summary:

The Operations Planner is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining operational plans that ensure efficiency, productivity and cost-effectiveness across various departments. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.

• Ability to effectively use different database programs and possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
• A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar position
• Must posses the required certification needed in fields like supply chain, project management, or business management.
• Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent
• Excellent computer knowledge (Excel, Microsoft Project, ERP)
• Written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Project management skills
• Understanding of operational metrics and KPI's
• Time and Task Management Skills
• Posses good professional judgment
• Possess a good attitude/work ethic
• Ability to work well independently
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory targets.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Monitor production progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule.
• Analyze production date to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance to resolve production issues
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Manage inventory levels to minimize excess stock and reduce cost
• Facilitate communication between production teams and management
• Participate in cross-functional team meeting to discuss production goals and strategies
• Other duties as assigned by leadership team.
