Prestigious Serrano Country Club is now accepting applications for Dishwasher. Must be a self-starter, a team player, able to work under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor. This is a full-time position. Serrano offers two weeks' vacation, eight sick days and eight paid holidays. Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance is available in 60 days from date of hire. 401(k) is available after one year of service with 4% employer match. Complimentary meal and golf privileges. You will need a Food Handler Certificate within 30 days of hire. Interviews will be scheduled with qualified applicants.
Qualifications:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned whether or not in this job description, at any time, by the Executive Chef or designee.
Supports the goals and objectives of the Company and in accordance with the Company's commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction, must have professional, service oriented attitude at all times.
Follows safe work practices at all times.
Must adhere to schedule, report to work on time, well groomed and wearing a clean uniform.
Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices: keeps work station clean at all times.
Covers, wraps, and returns all unused food products to proper storage areas.
Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small ware items to the proper areas.
Upkeep cleanliness of the kitchen with the following tasks: organizing storage areas including food product, food equipment, food containers. Sweeping and mopping all floor areas, pulling and laying down floor mats, cleaning work stations and areas, throwing out garbage, compost, and recycling throughout the day, and maintaining all surface areas.

Education and/or Experience: Knowledge of commercial restaurant equipment, product, and kitchen tools

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to members, guests or employees of the organization. Must be able to speak in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities. The employee must be able to interact and communicate with all types of individuals and deal with difficult people and situations. Possess excellent customer service and teamwork skills, maintain positive working relationships, promotes a cooperative, courteous, friendly, accommodating and respectful attitude towards members, guests, and colleagues.
