Below are some of the job duties of a Dietary Aide:
- Assist cook by preparing and portioning food items as instructed .
- Set up trays and deliver meals to residents according to menus
- Clean and maintain kitchen and food preparation equipment.
- Stock and store food items.
- Retrieve dishes and utensils following meals.
- Wash, sanitize and store dishes and utensils.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Work cooperatively with other staff and departments
- Ability to stand for long period
