What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory, Operations & E-Commerce Manager position at Serpentine Jewels?
The Inventory, Operations & E-Commerce Manager is the person who knows where every piece is, every day - in the studio and on the website. This role owns the physical and data integrity of Serpentine's inventory (tracking, shipping, receiving, and documenting every piece that moves through our locations), keeps our systems perfectly in sync, and runs the day-to-day execution of our digital storefront, from product uploads and copy to client invoicing. It is the operational backbone of the business, and it is a fully in-office role due to hands-on inventory and shipping responsibilities.

- A strong, precise writer who can adapt to a luxury brand voice.
- Fluent in technology systems (or a fast learner)
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work: packing, shipping, receiving, and handling fine jewelry with care.
- Client-service minded - warm, responsive, and professional in every interaction - and discreet and trustworthy with high-value goods and confidential client information.
- Experienced - you have 1-2 years of experience in luxury or jewelry.

- Upload and tag new photos at least three times per week so the library is always current.
- Maintain standardized naming conventions and file organization systems.
Invoicing & Financial Accuracy
- Create and send invoices and confirm payment is received before jewelry ships.
- Maintain clean, accurate records for every client order
