Our beloved Meltaway Bars and hand-crafted confections are a state tradition—celebrated for their quality and the joy they bring to families through our retail stores, fundraising programs, corporate gifting, and growing e-commerce platform.

As we enter a new era of innovation and growth, we’re seeking a Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution across our brand, digital, website, and customer acquisition efforts.

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue through brand, digital, and customer growth strategies. This role owns marketing-driven performance across e-commerce, retail traffic generation, and customer acquisition and retention.

This is a hands-on role that combines creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making. You will own campaigns from concept through analysis, manage the marketing budget, and lead execution across digital, website, and brand channels. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Retail, and Operations, but maintain clear ownership of marketing strategy and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Brand Leadership

· Own and execute the annual marketing plan aligned to company revenue goals and strategic priorities.

· Evolve and protect Seroogy’s brand identity across all touchpoints (packaging, advertising, retail visuals, and digital presence).

· Own end-to-end campaign planning and execution, including timelines, cross-functional coordination, launch, and post-campaign analysis.

· Align marketing efforts to key seasonal revenue moments (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas), while identifying opportunities to drive off-season growth.

· Lead market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning, pricing, and product strategy.

· Present quarterly performance updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership.

Digital & E-Commerce Marketing

· Own e-commerce performance, including revenue growth, conversion rate, average order value, and customer acquisition.

· Manage email marketing strategy, content calendar, and segmentation to drive revenue and retention.

· Oversee paid digital campaigns (Meta, Google, etc.), including strategy, budget allocation, and performance optimization.

· Manage the company website, including day-to-day updates, content accuracy, and site merchandising.

· Manage website roadmap and prioritization; partner with developers and internal stakeholders to execute enhancements, redesigns, and integrations (ERP, Shopify, etc.).

· Optimize the online customer experience, including navigation, product pages, landing pages, and checkout flow to improve conversion.

· Manage site merchandising and promotional execution (homepage features, seasonal collections, product launches, and campaign landing pages).

· Collaborate on SEO strategy and continuously improve organic traffic performance.

· Own social media strategy and execution across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), including content planning, posting cadence, engagement, and performance.

· Develop platform-specific strategies to grow audience, increase engagement, and drive traffic and sales.

Retail Traffic & Marketing

· Own marketing strategy to drive retail traffic and in-store revenue, including promotions, campaigns, and seasonal storytelling.

· Partner with Retail leadership to execute in-store signage, displays, and customer experience initiatives.

· Develop campaigns that increase foot traffic, average transaction value, and repeat visits.

Community Engagement & Events

· Own strategy and branding for all community events, sponsorships, and brand activations.

· Partner with Sales Manager to identify and pursue event opportunities that align with revenue goals.

· Represent the Seroogy’s brand at events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

· Develop partnerships that increase brand awareness and drive measurable traffic and sales.

Creative & Content Development

· Own creative direction and final approval of all marketing assets, ensuring alignment with brand standards and the strategic vision set by company leadership.

· Direct execution of campaigns across photography, copywriting, design, and video.

· Ensure brand voice and visual consistency across all channels.

· Produce content that reflects Seroogy’s heritage while appealing to new and younger audiences.

Analytics, Performance & Budget Ownership

· Define and track KPIs across digital, retail traffic, and campaign performance.

· Own marketing dashboards (GA4, Meta Ads, email, etc.) and ensure data accuracy.

· Translate performance data into actionable insights that drive revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.

· Provide monthly performance reporting and post-campaign analysis with clear recommendations.

· Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and strong return on investment.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (required)

· 4–8 years of progressive marketing experience (consumer packaged goods, retail, hospitality, or e-commerce preferred)

· Proven experience owning digital campaigns and e-commerce performance

· Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), including content strategy, algorithms, and performance optimization.

· Strong understanding of website management, UX, and conversion optimization

· Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or developers preferred

· Strong creative judgment and excellent communication skills

· Highly organized with strong project management capabilities

· Familiarity with Shopify (or similar), GA4, Meta Ads Manager, and email platforms (Constant Contact or similar)
