Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position for a Pharmacist located in Montclair, NJ. Available Wednesdays, Thursdays and every other Saturdays with coverage occasionally for vacations and sick days. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications to patients and providing consultations on medications. Proper ordering from our various wholesalers. Providing on site vaccinations. The Pharmacist will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Experience in medication dispensing, drug counseling, and pharmaceutical care
- Active License to vaccinate in NJ and experience vaccinating.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well with the existing pharmacy team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and professionals
- Knowledge of modern pharmacy software, PioneerRX preferred
- Ability to stay updated on developments in pharmaceutical sciences and practices
- Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of New Jersey
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent qualification
