What will you do?
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts receivable and payable transactions within the ERP system
- Monitor customer accounts, manage non-payments and delayed payments, and perform active collection activities
- Issue invoices to clients and support intercompany transactions
- Plan and execute payments, manage cash-related activities, and ensure proper accounting registration
- Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and fees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support tax calculations and declarations (corporate, labor, VAT, etc.) within required deadlines
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and financial reports
- Support the preparation of special financial reports through data collection, analysis, and summarization
- Collaborate with the Administration and Finance Manager in researching and interpreting accounting and fiscal regulations
- Prepare documentation for periodic audits
- Support office management and administrative activities when required
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Good knowledge of taxation rules and regulations
- Good understanding of manufacturing business processes
- Excellent applied knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant in a manufacturing company or within a chartered accountant consultancy firm
