About the Role
Serigor Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our day-to-day financial operations and serve as the in-house expert for our Unanet ERP and ADP payroll systems. This is a hands-on leadership role at the center of our finance function, responsible for maintaining financial integrity, driving process efficiency, and coordinating with an offshore accounting team. The ideal candidate is a strong accounting generalist who is also a confident Unanet power user.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior leadership
- Monitor cash flow and ensure financial stability across the organization
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and support short- and long-range financial forecasting
- Oversee tax preparation and filing in coordination with the external CPA firm
- Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes
- Develop and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures
Unanet ERP Administration
- Serve as the company s Unanet super user own system configuration, project setup, user management, and ongoing maintenance
- Manage purchase orders, invoicing workflows, and timesheet processing within Unanet
- Build and deliver ad hoc and scheduled financial reports using Unanet analytics
- Identify and implement system improvements to increase automation and reduce manual effort
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Unanet-related questions across departments
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Manage 401(k) and benefits integrations within ADP; coordinate with HR on employee changes
- Reconcile payroll accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies promptly
Offshore Team Coordination
- Manage day-to-day work assignments and review deliverables from the offshore accounting team
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all offshore outputs
- Develop clear processes, workflows, and communication routines with the offshore team
- Provide training and guidance to offshore team members as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or Master s degree a plus
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Hands-on expertise with Unanet ERP system administration experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with ADP payroll processing and administration
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience coordinating with or managing remote or offshore accounting teams
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to juggle competing priorities
- Clear communicator who can work effectively across departments and with leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or supporting a Unanet implementation or system upgrade
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Tableau, or similar reporting and automation tools
- Background in financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis
- CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure
- Experience working in a professional services, technology, or project-based business environment
