Psychotherapist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team. Immediate need for Licensed Physiotherapist and or Associate Physiotherapist in California.

(Supervised clinical hours towards licensure available)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide outpatient mental health counseling using evidence-based practices.
• Implement dance therapy techniques as part of the therapeutic process to enhance emotional expression and healing.
• Engage in case management to coordinate care and resources for clients.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic practices and outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the clinic to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, incorporating psychopharmacology when appropriate.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.

Experience

• Degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Previous experience in outpatient mental health counseling is preferred.
• Familiarity with behavioral health practices and clinical counseling methodologies is essential.
• Experience with case management and crisis intervention strategies is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology principles is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
