Job Description:

We are hiring immediately for a bilingual Spanish and English Front Desk Receptionist in Orem for the remainder of tax season through April 15, 2026.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, punctual, detail oriented, extremely fast learning, professional, and able to multitask in a fast paced office environment from day one. This is not the right position for someone who needs a slow paced environment or has limited availability during tax season.

This position is ideal for someone who learns quickly, follows verbal direction well, stays calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys helping people. Our office serves a large portion of the Latino community, so we are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and comfortable working closely with Spanish and English speaking clients.

We offer a friendly, team oriented environment with the opportunity to grow in the company. We will train the right person, but we need someone who is sharp, adaptable, and ready to jump in right away. You will be working alongside a team of three other receptionists in a collaborative office environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet clients in a warm and professional manner

Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately

Manage a multi line phone system with professionalism and accuracy

Assist Spanish and English speaking clients in person and over the phone

Help keep the office organized and front desk operations running smoothly

Collect, review, and organize client documents

Scan, print, copy, upload, file, fax, and mail paperwork accurately

Process payments

Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized client records

Answer client questions, assist with forms, and help guide clients through the tax preparation process

Help maintain a clean, orderly, and professional office environment

Monitor office supply needs

Support staff with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

Spanish and English required

Must be dependable and punctual

Must be able to learn quickly and follow verbal directions well

Strong customer service and communication skills

Able to multitask efficiently in a busy office

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Professional in communication, appearance, and attitude

Organized, responsible, and self motivated

Calm under pressure and able to stay productive when busy

Willing to accept feedback, learn from mistakes, and improve quickly

Works well with others and contributes to a positive office environment

Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, and general office software

Experience with Google Workspace is helpful

Typing speed of at least 30 to 35 WPM preferred

Tax office, accounting, reception, or administrative experience is helpful but not required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential client information with discretion

Strong time management skills required

Important Requirements:

Must be available to start immediately

Must be flexible during tax season

Must be able to work the remaining Saturdays of tax season

No planned time off during the remainder of tax season

Punctuality and reliability are critical for this position

Position Details:

Seasonal position starting immediately

Possibility of staying on after tax season for the right candidate

Full time or part time available depending on experience and availability

Hourly pay based on experience

Paid training provided

Tax Season Hours:

Monday through Friday: 9:40 AM to 8:30 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsabilidades:

Recibir a los clientes de manera cálida y profesional

Contestar llamadas entrantes y dirigirlas correctamente

Manejar un sistema telefónico de múltiples líneas con profesionalismo y precisión

Atender a clientes en persona y por teléfono

Ayudar a mantener la oficina organizada y el área de recepción funcionando sin problemas

Recibir, revisar y organizar documentos de clientes

Escanear, imprimir, copiar, subir, archivar, enviar por fax y por correo documentos con precisión

Procesar pagos

Realizar entrada de datos con exactitud y mantener organizados los registros de los clientes

Responder preguntas de los clientes, ayudar con formularios y guiarlos durante el proceso de preparación de impuestos

Ayudar a mantener un ambiente de oficina limpio, ordenado y profesional

Monitorear las necesidades de suministros de oficina

Apoyar al personal con tareas administrativas y clericales según sea necesario

Realizar otras tareas asignadas

Habilidades y requisitos:

Español requerido

Inglés preferido, pero no indispensable

Debe ser responsable y puntual

Debe aprender rápido y seguir bien instrucciones verbales

Buenas habilidades de comunicación, servicio al cliente y trato interpersonal

Capacidad para realizar varias tareas eficientemente en una oficina ocupada

Excelente atención al detalle y precisión

Profesional en su comunicación, presentación y actitud

Organizado, responsable y automotivado

Capaz de mantenerse calmado bajo presión y seguir siendo productivo cuando hay mucho trabajo

Dispuesto a aceptar retroalimentación, aprender de los errores y mejorar rápidamente
