IOP Counselor

Job Opening: IOP Counselor (Full-Time)
Location: The Serenity Treatment Center IOP Building
Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 6:30 AM – 9:00 PM (1 hour lunch break)

Position Summary:
The Serenity Treatment Center is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate IOP Counselor to join our team. This role is responsible for facilitating Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups, conducting individual sessions, and supporting client progress in recovery. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals struggling with substance use and mental health challenges.

Essential Requirements:

• Must hold an active license in the state of Louisiana as one of the following:

CIT, RAC, CAC, LAC, PLPC, or LPC

• Strong understanding of addiction, recovery, and group dynamics
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and uphold ethical standards
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Counseling experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions
• Conduct individual counseling sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
• Conduct daily audits
