Position: Rehab Director

Location: Rochester, New York

Job Description: As the Rehab Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of rehabilitation services within our skilled nursing facility. You will lead a team of dedicated therapists to deliver high-quality care to our residents, ensuring they achieve optimal outcomes and regain independence. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.

• Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that align with resident needs and regulatory standards.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to rehabilitation services.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure comprehensive rehabilitation services.

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs and make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of rehabilitation services provided.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of New York.

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of practice for rehabilitation services.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to effectively manage a team and foster a collaborative work environment.
