Swim Instructor (special needs instructor preferred)

Serenity Swimming provides high quality private swim lessons to the Frederick, MD area. Serenity Swimming is a small, woman owned, and operated by the owner/ swim instructor.

Serenity Swimming is hiring high-quality, experienced, fun instructors in the Frederick area. Ideally this instructor will have a background working with special needs children either onland or water; we can train the in water teaching special needs. Teachers, therapist, ABA, etc are highly encouraged to apply.

This is a year round position with the ability to change hours between Summer and School Year but should be consistent. Availability should be consistent week to week, and at least 2 weekend/ evenings (shift size at least 2-3 hours each).

Requirements reliable transportation, reliable attendance, pass background check, and CPR/ lifeguard certification (obtain no later than 30 days after hire).

Interview process

Step 1: In person interview (typically 15-45 min).

Step 2: In water interview with a swim lesson (30 min)

We are trying to schedule both back to back to make it convenient.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
