Director of Nursing (RN) – Assisted Living
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Director of Nursing. This position provides clinical oversight of resident care while supervising and supporting our nursing and caregiving team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee resident care, safety, and clinical services.
- Complete resident assessments, care plans, and required documentation.
- Conduct pre-admission assessments.
- Supervise, train, and support LPNs and caregivers.
- Review MARs, resident records, incidents, and changes in condition.
- Communicate with physicians, families, pharmacy, home health, and hospice providers.
- Ensure compliance with Alabama assisted living requirements and facility policies.
- Coordinate staff education and required clinical training.
- Assist with staffing coverage and provide hands-on support when needed.
- Work closely with the Administrator to address resident care and operational concerns.
Qualifications
- Current, active Alabama RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Assisted living leadership, experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and leadership skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
