Assisted Living Operations Manager

Serenity South Senior Living is seeking an experienced, hands-on Assisted Living Operations Manager to help support and strengthen operations across multiple assisted living communities in Southeast Alabama, with future expansion into the Columbus, Georgia market.

This position works closely with Executive Directors and ownership to support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, staffing support, leadership development, systems/process improvements, and overall consistency between communities. The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

This role is designed to provide additional operational support and infrastructure as Serenity South continues to grow and improve operations across the portfolio.

Responsibilities Include:

• Operational oversight and support across multiple assisted living communities
• Support for Executive Directors and community leadership teams
• Compliance oversight and survey readiness support
• Staffing support, accountability, and leadership development
• Systems/process improvements and operational consistency
• Performance reporting, KPI tracking, and operational accountability
• Assistance with budgeting, labor management, and expense control initiatives
• Regular travel between community locations based on operational needs

Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of experience in assisted living, healthcare operations, or multi-site management
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of assisted living regulations and operational best practices preferred
• Experience supporting teams in a fast-paced operational environment
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly between locations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Assisted Living Administrator experience or licensure preferred but not required
• Experience working with state regulatory agencies or survey processes
• Experience with staffing oversight, budgeting, and operational reporting

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
• Expected salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually based on experience and qualifications

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Hybrid position with a combination of remote work and on-site operational support
• Regular travel required between community locations

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
