We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Perform chairside assisting duties while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy is essential.
- Experience with medical documentation, medical coding, and managing medical records is beneficial.
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively.
- Understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient interaction.
