Currently seeking FULLY/INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED providers for part-time or full-time work to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team of providers.

Pay is dependent upon education, licensure, and experience.

Serenity Now is a small, non-profit group practice comprised of therapy providers and psychiatric medication providers, facilitating exceptional client care under one roof. Our team includes therapists of varying license types (social workers, mental health counselors, addiction counselors, and marriage/family therapists) and levels (both fully/independently licensed and associate level), allowing for a unique opportunity to collaborate and learn from the wide range of professional experiences present.

SUMMARY
Provides direct service and related duties to clients, such as individual counseling, family counseling and psycho-educational groups, through the use of proper therapeutic interventions. Provides clients with training and support to create a therapeutic milieu by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Collects data for psychosocial assessment and recommends a diagnosis consistent with DSM -5 criteria.

· Prepares an individual treatment plan to address all signs and symptoms in a manner that will increase the effectiveness of daily functioning, ensuring goals and objectives are client driven and measurable.

· Leads individual and family therapeutic sessions and interventions as outlined in the treatment plan.

· Completes all required documentation as specified by agency policy.

· Attends weekly clinical staffing and comes prepared to discuss caseload.

· Makes presentations as assigned

· Clinical skills and practice congruent with accepted best practice standards of care

· Demonstrates professionalism by appearance, actions, self-development, and guest relations

· Uses interpersonal skills, which convey a positive and supportive attitude

· Demonstrates flexibility with schedule changes or changing job assignments to meet patient care needs

· Excellent language and communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstration of a team approach to work

· Able to handle high stress situations

· Demonstrates advance practice in assessment and clinical skills and ability to plan and facilitate therapy groups

· Participates in collaborative treatment planning and coordination meetings for clients including those involving schools, other providers and parents.

· Participates in court-related issues for the caseload.

· May participate in compliance-related activities. Such as chart audits for peers and reviewing progress notes for content.

· Trains and mentors new employees as requested by the Clinical Manager.

· Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no mandatory supervisory responsibilities but supervision of interns or associate-level licensed therapists may be allowed on a case by case basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in a Human Service discipline (i.e. counseling, mental health, social work) from an accredited college or university and verified direct experience working with a variety of populations, such as adolescents and families in a therapeutic treatment environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective presentations to management, public groups and or board of directors.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS and EXPERIENCE
This position requires the following:

Valid state driver’s license in good standing
Appropriate automobile insurance (at least state minimum)
Masters in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling
Must have or be reasonably close to receiving State Licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC
Certificates and licensure must be consistent with State and Federal requirements.
Two years of Clinical experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
